The accommodation we offer:
We have five twin rooms, each with their own ensuite.
One room is equipped for wheelchair access. All linen is supplied.

Guest rooms are equipped with a desk and chair, heater and electric
blanket for the comfort of guests.

The Grounds . . . .
All guests are welcome to enjoy the grounds of Te Waiora. Our property covers 14 acres - including lawns, gardens, orchard, and farmland.
It is just 2km to the village of Hororata, where you can enjoy coffee at the cafe.
The Lounge / Dining Area . . . .
There is a large lounge area with comfortable seating for up to 13 people, adjacent to a spacious dining area with dining table with seating for 10. This combined area is a suitable meeting area with easy indoor - outdoor flow to a large sunny deck. The lounge / dining area is heated by a woodburner and heatpump.

The Kitchen . . . .
There is a small kitchenette for groups using the chapel, and a large commercial kitchen in the house.
The Chapel . . . .
is used most days for a short devotional time. Guests are welcome, but there is no pressure to attend. Guests are welcome to use the chapel as a quiet space and for their personal devotional use if it is not in use by another group.

Information about booking ...
There are various options for the use of Te Waiora House.
You may wish to take time out and stay for a few days, or you may use the house for a day retreat.
Groups are also welcome to use Te Waiora for a day visit or overnight retreat.
We would love you to come and enjoy our facilities.
One night at Te Waiora covers a 24hr period. It usually includes three meals and a night's accommodation. It costs us approximately $95 for each night's stay per person. However, we would like all who need time out to be welcomed and you are encouraged to contact us to discuss a subsidy if needed to enable you to come.
Maybe you are eligible for Carer Support - MoH or DHB.
Other funding options include applying to Trusts or community organisations for grants.
Note: Te Waiora is not for emergency care. However, there are occasions when an urgent need will be considered. For further information go to our contact page.
