Separate Chapel
Te Waiora has a separate chapel linked to the main building. Seating is provided and there is a piano, heating and an adjacent kitchenette.
The Chapel is wheelchair accessible.
Kitchen Facilities
Te Waiora has a large, semi-industrial kitchen suitable for catered or self-catered use. It handles’ individuals, small and larger groups with ease.
Prayer Hut
Equipped with a comfortable lounge suite, electric heater for cold days, Bible, views to the mountains and located in a secluded area - the prayer hut is a great way to spend time with God
The hut is made with natural timber throughout and has a classical high ceiling. While it is not wheelchair accessible, the two low steps can be easily navigated.
Large Gardens
Te Waiora is situated in the countryside with a large garden surrounding the house. There are views towards the mountain and surrounding countryside. The facility is planted with mature trees, which provide a shady place to snooze, pray or rest in the warmer months. There is also a plantation of trees and a small orchard.
The grounds are designed with reflective spaces and include a prayer walk / reflective walk.
Wheel Chair Access
Te Waiora is highly accessible, with wheelchair access to the lounge, chapel, dining areas, and outdoor areas. We also have an accessible room which has an accessible ensuite bathroom with rails, and in shower bench seat.
