What is Te Waiora House used for?

Te Waiora House is a Christian retreat centre used for personal retreats, group gatherings, prayer days, ministry training, leadership team planning, and times of rest and restoration.

How many people can Te Waiora House accommodate?

We can comfortably accommodate up to 15 guests overnight in the main house, with a mix of shared and private rooms. The total site can hold up to thirty people so please contact us if you have a group of that size and we can explore how to best accommodate you.

Do I need to bring my own food?

Yes, Te Waiora is a self-catered facility.

Is there internet and phone reception?

Phone reception at the house is quite poor. However, we do have an excellent internet connection, which means you can make calls on Whatsapp or Messenger should you need to.

Do I need to clean?
Te Waiora is fully serviced, so there’s no need to worry about cleaning.
We simply ask that you place any used linen in the laundry and treat the space as you would your own home, so the next guests can enjoy it just as much.
