Booking

Guests are now welcome to book a stay at Te Waiora House, provided they have no flu/cold/covid symptoms prior to arrival at Te Waiora House. If in doubt, they are asked to do a RAT test prior to leaving home.

Overnight Stay

The Te Waiora Christian Trust would like to welcome all who need to take time out, to come and spend time at Te Waiora House.

If costs are prohibiting your intended stay, you may find that you could be eligible for Carer Support from the Ministry of Health. Other funding options could include applying to Trusts or community organisations for grants. We don't want cost to be a barrier so please talk to the hosts if you require financial assistance.

Overnight Stays:

Fully Catered
One night at Te Waiora House covers a 24hr period, and usually includes three meals, morning and afternoon tea and a night's accommodation.
All prices include gst.

  • $ 145.00 per person per night OR $ 130.00 per person per night - twin share.
  • $ 230.00 - married couples and close family members of the same household twin share.

 
Self Catered
One night at Te Waiora House covers a 24hr period, and usually includes three meals, morning and afternoon tea and a night's accommodation.
All prices include gst.

  • $ 70.00 per person per night OR $ 60.00 per person per night - twin share.
  • $ 95.00 including GST per night - married couples and close family members of the same household twin share - self catered.

One night at Te Waiora House covers a 24 hour period, and includes breakfast, lunch dinner, morning and afternoon teas, and a night's accommodation. Should you wish to extend your stay beyond 24 hours please discuss additional costs with the hosts.

Day Visitors:

Costs: $20.00 per person per day for use the of the Te Waiora House facilities.

Should catering be required

  • Morning Tea - $7.50 per person
  • Lunch - $25.00 per person
  • Afternoon Tea - $7.50 per person
  • Dinner - $30.00 per person

Other Conditions:

Te Waiora House is not for emergency care. However, there are occasions when an urgent need will be considered at the discretion of the Hosts. Please contact us if this is a requirement.

Alcohol is not permitted at Te Waiora, with the exception of communion wine. Smoking is permitted outside in a designated area only.

Refunds:

  • For people who are unable to come because of flu/cold/covid symptoms, then re-booking, a voucher, or a refund will be offered.
  • If Te Waiora House is unable to host a guest/group for any reason, a full refund of any deposit will be given.
